So I track the photography tag here on tumblr. And I spend a lot of time comparing other’s work and weeping at my own lack of ability. then I will see something that will always piss me off.

Pictures of cameras.

Commonly a poor quality picture of a Canon or Nikon DSLR. If you have a high quality camera. Use It. Don’t use it a subject. Use it on a subject. Photography Is one of the most amazing and impressive arts going, and the only one I am capable of doing ;), but c’mon. a picture of a camera is not art, a picture of a Apple computer is not art, Shut the hell up, Go out side and make beautiful art which will make children of all generatios weep at it’s beauty. 

I’m not trying to say what is art and what isn’t. 

What I am saying is go make something beautiful. 

Don’t take pictures of cameras and computers. 

They are dull and uninspired.

Just my thoughts.

I can never think of what to title my posts so this one stays blank. that’s a lie. I’m goona call it books but you already knew that because you probably read it already unless you know. you read like a demented Squirrel.

Okay. I’ve noticed something common with my friends. I have two types, the ones who always have their head in a book, and those who “don’t have time for books” Well. to the latter I have to say, Make time. I am not kidding. even just ten minuetes a day, Make time to loose yourself in another world. you won’t regret it.

Back onto what I wanted to write about.

I have observed that as a rule. The friends who read books, one they have much more active and exciting imaginations, two they can write paragraphs about nothing and make it sound fucking compelling. But My friends who dont read, they have so much trouble writing more than a few lines on a given subject, and I just had an epiphany as to why, also, I had no idea epiphany had two Ps in it, ANYWAY, when you read you are essentially Studying, you are learning how to take something small and flesh it out. you’re learning how to tell the full story not just the facts. Unlike people who don’t read, they just get straight to the point giving no back story. 

I dunno. Just a little observation.

I’m in a writing mood tonight. 

Even though I really Should Be asleep.

and I am so out of it I have no idea where i put them. Why do i have to have black glasses and sheets?
